The Association for New Culture in Vaasa was established in 2008. The association manages local band rehearsal spaces, promotes concert events and supports the development of local artists by offering chances to perform.

Volume ry administrates Rockwerstas, the largest concentration of band rehearsal spaces in Vaasa. The association organizes about 20 concerts annually spanning from top domestic artists to local prospects and an occasional international name, most notably and memorably Pendulum in 2012. In addition, Volume is annually involved in the organization of the music trade fair in Vaasa.

Volume ry is a volunteer-driven registered association. If you’re interested in the development the local music scene, we welcome you to join us.
